Where will the ceremony and reception be held?
Both ceremony and reception will be held at the Society Room of Hartford (31 Pratt Street, Hartford, CT 06103).
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP and provide meal preferences by Saturday, August 29th.
What is the deadline to book a hotel room as part of the block?
For those reserving a reduced-rate room through the hotel block at the Residence Inn Marriott Hartford Downtown, please reserve before Thursday, August 20th.
What should I wear?
We are asking guests to dress in formal attire. The wedding party will be wearing a merlot red, so we request that guests do not wear that color.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony and reception will be entirely indoors.
Are children invited?
We are requesting adults only for the ceremony and reception.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Doors open at 5:30 pm, with the ceremony beginning at 6:00 pm.
What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please make a note when you submit your food preference so we can inform the venue and make necessary accommodations.
Can I take pictures with my phone?
We are requesting no phones for the duration of the ceremony but during the reception, we encourage guests to take pictures. There will also be digital cameras provided to take more candid photos at the table, which we request are returned to the maid-of-honor or best man by the end of the night.
What is the parking situation?
Parking will be provided in the lot connected to the Society Room. For those staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Hartford, on-site parking is available (use 121 Market St. for GPS purpose) as well as nearby off-site parking (Temple Street Garage, .5 miles away). The hotel is directly across the street from the venue.
